Under the diligent eye of Denson Hamby as editor, Forrest's Dispatch was born in January of 1999 and ran through October of 2000. Forrest's Dispatch then took a 4 year hiatus. It wasn't until October of 2004, under Tony Warren as the new editor, that Forrest's Dispatch was reborn. However, when Compatriot Warren heeded a greater calling through his Masonic Lodge, Camp 469's newsletter was then taken over by Jim Dugger. For the following 4 years Compatriot Dugger 'manned his post valiantly' until he ascended to Commander, after which Mike Morton assumed the editor position in February of 2009. Unfortunately, Compatriot Morton has come down with an ailment that has caused him to remove himself from these duties, requiring Jim to reassume the role of editor. Although not all newsletters are available, we will archive below all we can 'discover'.
