HERITAGE HOLIDAYS THANKS A big thanks to all who participated in the Camp 469 booth at the Coosa Valley Fair in early October and the many other activities during Heritage Holidays. The booth at the Coosa Valley Fair was a big success from a financial and recruiting basis. We sold a lot of T-shirts, hats and flags to fair goers and made a number of strong contacts within the community. The same goes for the activities along the river during the encampments and ironclad battles. Word has filtered out that the Camp booth at the Cave Spring festival was a big hit. The raffle on the saber was the highlight of the weekend. Thanks to all who helped. CAMP CALENDAR A number of opportunities to participate in Camp activities are just around the corner. Activities range from parades to the annual Jefferson Davis Memorial Dinner. We have been very successful during parade season collecting awards from the surrounding communities. The parade season kicks off in Rome on Tuesday November 28th. This year’s theme will be “A Hometown Christmas.” Parade dates Nov. 28th Rome Dec. 2nd Summerville Dec. 7th Dalton Dec. 9th Cave Spring Dec.14th Calhoun
